HB 1188 -- Failure to Stop for Law Enforcement Sponsor: Wright This bill increases the penalty for willful failure to obey traffic signals or directions given by the Highway Patrol from a misdemeanor to a class D felony. The bill also creates a new crime making it a class D felony for willful failure to obey traffic signals or directions given by other law enforcement officials.
