HB 1528 -- Unlawful Use of Weapons

Co-Sponsors:  Patek, Tudor, Klindt, Scott, Gibbons, McClelland,
Hendrickson, Summers

This bill makes it a class C felony to carry a loaded or
unloaded firearm or other weapon capable of lethal use onto any
school property or school bus.  The bill provides an exception
for persons participating in school-sanctioned, firearm-related
events.  Currently, it is a class B misdemeanor to carry a
firearm or weapon into a school.
