HB 1533 -- Causes for Suspension and Expulsion of Students Sponsor: Patek This bill clarifies that school district personnel's "need to know" about acts of school violence applies to Chapter 167 as well as Chapter 160. The bill adds the list of 19 reportable offenses to the provisions currently requiring a suspension of not less than one year or expulsion for weapons violations.
