HB 1535 -- Crime Reporting for School Accreditation

By July 1, 2001, the Department of Elementary and Secondary
Education must add to district accreditation criteria a crime--
reporting component that will include a report on the number of
crimes committed on school property during school hours and an
evaluation of the quality of the district's crime reporting
program.
