HB 1552 -- Increases in State School Aid

Sponsor: Scheve

This bill ensures that, beginning with the 2000-2001 school
year, in any year in which the entitlement portion of the school
funding formula is fully funded, every school district will
receive an increase in its state aid per pupil equal to the
percentage increase in the guaranteed tax base. In a year of
less than full funding, no district will get less than its
previous year's funding per pupil.
