HB 1563 -- Teacher Career Ladder

This bill permits public school teachers who have taught in a
public school in another state to get state career ladder credit
for their experience in other states after one year of teaching
in Missouri.  The first year of teaching in Missouri would not
count as a year of eligibility for these teachers.  The
Department of Elementary and Secondary Education may consider
how a local career plan recognizes experience from other states
when it approves such plans.
