HB 1817 -- Administrative Appeals

Sponsor:  Wiggins

This bill allows claimants to file a petition in circuit court,
rather than with the Administrative Hearing Commission, in cases
involving: (1) the licensure of residential health care
facilities; (2) medical assistance requests that are denied; (3)
claims for reimbursement for medical services that are denied;
and (4) medical services providers who are denied participation
in a program or aggrieved by a rule or regulation.
