HB 1876 -- State Aid for Charter Schools

Co-Sponsors:  Campbell, Van Zandt

Currently, for charter schools operated in the Kansas City
School District, the district may retain an amount of money that
represents the per-pupil share of leasehold indebtedness from
the amount of aid going to the charter school.  This bill
specifies that this amount may only be retained by the district
for charter schools operated in district-owned buildings.
