HB 1919 -- Confidentiality of Birth Records
Sponsor: Tudor
This bill requires, at the written request of birth parents,
that all birth records of a child remain confidential. These
records may be disclosed, under certain conditions, to the
following: government agencies; researchers; insurers; and any
persons with the written consent of the individuals to whom the
information pertains.
The bill has a penalty provision.
