AN ACT

To amend chapter 488, RSMo, relating to court costs by adding thereto one new section relating to change of venue.



Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section A. Chapter 488, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 488.485, to read as follows:

488.485. Except as otherwise provided by law, the originating county shall be responsible for paying the costs of a jury in a civil case when a change of venue has been granted.
