AN ACT
To amend chapter 247, RSMo, relating to public water supply districts by adding thereto one new section relating to service agreements between water districts and municipal water companies.
Section A. Chapter 247, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 247.225, to read as follows:
247.225. Beginning August 28, 2000, no municipality which provides municipal water service and which has
annexed any land within the established area of an existing water district shall be allowed to provide water
service to any new development of real property whatsoever in such area which will require water service until
such municipality reaches a water service agreement with such water district for such
development.
