AN ACT
To amend chapter 313, RSMo, relating to the state lottery by adding thereto one new section relating to the same subject, with a penalty provision.
Section A. Chapter 313, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 313.283, to read as follows:
313.283. No employer who is a licensed game retailer shall sell or allow any employee to sell a lottery ticket or
share to an employee of such licensed game retailer; provided that, if an employer is a licensed game retailer at
multiple locations, such employer may sell or allow any employee to sell a lottery ticket or share to an employee at
any of the employer's locations other than any location where the employee purchasing the lottery ticket or share
works. No employee of a person who is a licensed game retailer shall purchase a lottery ticket or share from such
his or her employer; provided that, if the employee's employer is a licensed game retailer at multiple locations,
such employee may purchase a lottery ticket or share at any of the employer's locations other than any location at
which he or she works. Any violation of this section is a class A misdemeanor.
