plans to furnish a copy of the proposed rule to the Joint
Committee on Public Employee Retirement when promulgating
administrative rules. Plans that file rules with the Secretary
of State must furnish a copy to the committee prior to or

furnish a copy to the committee within 10 days of promulgating
the rule.

PROPONENTS: Supporters say that rules should be filed with the
Joint Committee on Retirement. This will give the committee the
chance to review rules and know what changes are being made in
the different systems.
