HB 206 -- Motor Vehicle License Tax

This bill allows Kansas City to levy and collect a motor vehicle
license tax of $1 per day for each passenger vehicle rented in
the city for periods of 30 days or less.  Proceeds from the
license tax will be used exclusively for the construction,
operation, improvement, and expansion of convention, sports,
exhibition, trade, and tourism facilities in the city.  The levy
must be submitted and approved by the voters of the city.
