HB 295 -- Ambulance and Fire Protection Boards

This bill requires an ambulance district board member to be a
resident of the district for 5 years and be at least 24 years
old.  Under current law, an ambulance district board member must
be a resident of the state for one year and be at least 21 years
old.

The bill also requires a fire protection board member to be a
resident of the district for 5 years and be at least 24 years
old.  Under current law, a fire protection board member must be
a resident of the district for at least 2 years and be at least
25 years old.
