HB 296 -- Public Water Systems

Co-Sponsors:  Kennedy, Hegeman

This bill requires the Department of Natural Resources to
request proposals for any person with expertise in providing
training and technical assistance to small public water systems
to provide the assistance services by contract.  The Safe
Drinking Water Commission is required to establish criteria and
procedures for the proposal requests and consider, approve, and
award contracts.
