HB 403 -- Closed Records for Municipal Electric Utilities

Co-Sponsors:  Hosmer, Kreider

This bill renews until December 31, 2003, a provision allowing
municipal electric utilities to close portions of their
financial records and business plans containing information
relating to suppliers of services, the costs of services, and
future marketing and service expansion areas in preparation for
electric restructuring.  In current law, this provision expires
if the General Assembly fails to adopt statutes authorizing
electric utility restructuring by December 31, 2001.
