HB 476 -- Driving with an Extreme Blood Alcohol Content Sponsor: Froelker This bill creates the crime of driving with an extreme blood alcohol content (BAC). A person commits this crime by driving with a BAC of .15% or more. Driving with an extreme BAC is a class A misdemeanor. If the person is found to have a prior alcohol-related driving offense, the crime is a class D felony. If the person is found to have 2 or more prior alcohol-related driving offenses, the crime is a class C felony. In addition, the bill also requires the Director of Revenue to suspend in certain situations and to revoke in other situations the driver's license of a person who has been found guilty of driving with a BAC of .15% or more.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
