HB 541 -- Campaign Information Disclosure

This bill requires any individual, acting on his or her own
behalf or representing any business or committee other than a
candidate or party committee, who purchases print advertising or
who purchases or causes any matter to be transmitted on a
broadcast station relative to any candidate for public office to
fill out and sign a form to be prepared by the Missouri Ethics
Commission listing certain information.  In addition, the
individual must provide a copy of the printed matter or a
transcript of the broadcast matter to the Ethics Commission and
the candidate and must provide notice to the candidate of the
broadcast.
