HB 546 -- Employee Background Checks

Co-Sponsors:  Ladd Baker, Hosmer

This bill adds persons, corporations, or associations that
employ persons who provide personal care assistance services to
the definition of "provider" for purposes of determining who
must request employee criminal background checks.  The bill also
makes a second violation of the provision prohibiting providers
from knowingly hiring disqualified persons a class D felony.
