HB 57 -- Concealable Weapon Permits

This bill allows retired, off-duty, and former peace officers
who were certified by the Peace Officer Standards and Training
Commission to receive a permit to carry a concealable firearm.
Currently, only active law enforcement officers, prison and
correctional institution employees, members of the armed forces
and national guard, certain judges, process servers, federal and
state probation and parole officers, and certain corporate
security advisors are eligible to obtain a concealable firearm
permit.
