HB 651 -- Parental Liability for Minors Co-Sponsors: Robirds, Schwab Under current law, parents may be held financially responsible for certain acts of their children who are under the age of 18 years, including defacing state facilities (Section 8.150, RSMo), offenses for which juvenile courts have jurisdiction (Section 211.185), and property damage and personal injury (Section 537.045).
