HB 800 -- Motor Vehicle Merchandising Practices

This bill extends the time period for the presumption of
nonconformity under the Lemon Law to include the limitation of
an express warranty or 18 months, whichever comes first.
Currently, the provisions are terms of the express warranty or
one year, whichever comes first.

The bill also requires that any manufacturer who invokes an
informal dispute settlement procedure must settle a dispute
within 60 days of the receipt of notification from the consumer.
