HJR 15 -- Highways and Transportation

Co-Sponsors:  Crawford, Reinhart, Secrest, Naeger

This proposed constitutional amendment changes the Director of
Transportation to the Secretary of Highways and Transportation
and the Highways and Transportation Commission to a Bipartisan
Advisory Council.

The Secretary of Highways and Transportation will be appointed
by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate.  The
Bipartisan Advisory Council will be appointed by the Governor.
The council will consist of 10 members, one from each
Congressional district and one at large.
