HJR 1 -- Legislative Term Limits

This proposed constitutional amendment increases the number of
years a person may serve in any one house of the General
Assembly from 8 to 12 years.  The proposal also limits a person
from serving more than 6 years in the office of Speaker of the
House or the office of President Pro Tempore of the Senate.
