AN ACT
To amend chapter 43, RSMo, relating to the state highway patrol, by adding thereto one new section relating to the same subject.
Section A. Chapter 43, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 43.125, to read as follows:
43.125. Pursuant to the superintendent's powers in section 43.120, the superintendent shall, on or before July 1,
2002, make the highway patrol annex building, in any county of the fourth classification which operates under the
laws for a county of the second classification and which has population of more than forty-eight thousand
inhabitants, into a district headquarters building. The superintendent shall redivide the troop districts of this state
to create a new district to be served by the new headquarters building, shall call members from other districts to
serve in the new district pursuant to section 43.120, and shall perform any other duties necessary for the
establishment of a new district pursuant to this chapter.
