AN ACT
To amend chapter 487, RSMo, relating to family courts by adding thereto one new section relating to the retention of family court commissioners.
Section A. Chapter 487, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 487.025, to read as follows:
487.025. 1. Each family court commissioner shall be placed on the ballot at every presidential election to be retained as a family court commissioner.
2. The ballot shall read as follows:
"Shall Commissioner ........... of the (title of court) ........... be retained as the Family Court Commissioner?".
3. If a majority of those voting on the question vote against retaining the commissioner, the commissioner shall be
removed from the family court on December thirty-first following such election.
