AN ACT
To amend chapter 130, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to disclosure of information on certain political mailings, with penalty provisions.
Section A. Chapter 130, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 130.130, to read as follows:
130.130. 1. Any item mailed to an address in this state which supports, opposes or provides information about any candidate or ballot measure shall disclose either the telephone number or the address of the principal place of business of the person or entity mailing such item. For purposes of this section, "principal place of business" shall mean any location at which service of process may be made on such person or entity, if any, or if no such place exists, then any location at which such person or entity may be found in the ordinary course of business.
2. A violation of this section shall be punishable pursuant to section 130.081.
