AN ACT
To amend chapter 229, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to surveillance of public roads and highways.
Section A. Chapter 229, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 229.225, to read as follows:
229.225. No public official or entity of this state, or any political subdivision thereof, nor any person acting in either
a public or private capacity, shall use any camera or other recording device for the purpose of identifying violators
of any traffic-related law, regulation or ordinance on the roads or highways of this state or any political subdivision
thereof. This section shall not be construed to limit the use of such devices for purposes of monitoring traffic flow
or related planning and development purposes.
