AN ACT

To authorize the conveyance of property owned by the state in Scott County to the Village of Commerce.




Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

Section 1. The governor is hereby authorized and empowered to sell, transfer, grant and convey all interest in fee simple absolute in the following described real estate owned by the state in the County of Scott, State of Missouri, to the Village of Commerce:

THAT PART OF U.S.P.S. #321, TOWNSHIP 29 NORTH, RANGE 15 EAST OF THE FIFTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:



Commence at the Northeast Corner of Lot #13 of the Original Town of Commerce as shown in Plat Book #1 at Page #20 of the Land Records of Scott County, Missouri; thence N 8500'00" E along the South line of Spring Street Extended, a distance of 60.00 feet to the East Right-of-Way line of Water Street; thence S 0440'42" E, along said Right-of-Way, a distance of 85.00 feet to a 1/2" Iron Rod at the Southwest corner of Book 504 at Page 532 of said Land Records, and the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continue, S 0440'42" E, a distance of 240.00 feet to a 1/2" Iron Rod; thence departing from said Right-of-Way, N 8500'00" E, a distance of 870.51 feet to a 1/2" Iron Rod on the West Waters edge of the Mississippi River; thence N 2007'28" W along said Waters edge, a distance of 248.61 feet to a 1/2" Iron Rod; thence departing from said Waters edge, S 8500'00" W, a distance of 804.29 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing 4.614 acres in the Village of Commerce, Scott County, Missouri. Subject to existing easements if any.

Section 2. The commissioner of administration shall set the terms and conditions for the sale as the commissioner deems reasonable. Such terms and conditions may include, but are not limited to, the number of appraisals required, the time, place and terms of the sale.

Section 3. The attorney general shall approve as to form the instrument of conveyance.
