HB 1151 -- TRUSTS

SPONSOR:  Smith

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Civil and Administrative Law by a vote of 14 to 0.

This bill corrects an error in a sectional reference in a bill
enacted in 2001 relating to the administration of trusts.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill merely corrects a
mistake in a law enacted last year.  A section number that is
referred to does not actually exist.

Testifying for the bill were Representative Smith; and Missouri
Bar.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
