HB 1600 -- POOL HALLS

SPONSOR:  Treadway

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Professional Registration and Licensing by a vote of 13 to 0.

This bill requires that all minor consent placards displayed in
pool halls be printed in at least 10 point type.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill will make the posting
of minor requirements in pool halls universal.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Treadway.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
