HB 2026 -- MEMORIAL BRIDGE

CO-SPONSORS:  Green (15), Bearden, Holt, Luetkenhaus, Ostmann,
Dempsey, Dolan

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Transportation by a vote of 21 to 0.

This bill designates the Missouri River bridge on Route 364 that
connects St. Louis and St. Charles counties as the "American
Military Veterans Bridge."

FISCAL NOTE:  Estimated Net Effect to Road Fund of $0 in FY 2003,
FY 2004, and FY 2005.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say this bridge is part of the Page
Extension.  The name is recommended by the St. Louis and St.
Charles county councils.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Green (15).

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
