HB 1036 -- School District Approval of Minute of Silence

Boucher, Barry, Crump, Coleman, Boykins, Johnson (90)

This bill permits a school district to establish a minute of
silence each day, during which pupils will stay seated and
silent, and may engage in any activity that does not distract
other pupils in their exercise of choice.  The bill enumerates
meditation, reflection, and prayer as permissible activities.
