HB 1267 -- Apportionment of Property Between School Districts Sponsor: Murphy When a school district is created, or its boundaries are changed because of changing boundary lines of another political subdivision or through annexation, property and indebtedness is adjusted if the school boards involved can agree. When boards cannot agree, a board of arbitration is created. This bill adds a requirement that the board of arbitration must be made up of current or retired circuit judges or associate circuit judges from a circuit other than the one in which the disagreement occurs.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
