HB 1340 -- Inducements for Students

Sponsor:  Ballard

This bill prohibits schools from offering inducements for
students to register for free and reduced price meals or to be in
attendance on particular days.  For each day a school offers an
inducement, it will lose one day's state aid entitlement.
Students who are in continuous truancy court programs are exempt
from the prohibition.
