HB 1362 -- Long-Term Care Facilities

This bill requires the final inspection report for a long-term
care facility to be published in a local newspaper within 30 days
of the submission of the report.  The report must include certain
information about the deficiencies, based on the number and type
of deficiency.  The bill also allows long-term care facilities to
place up to $50 of a resident's funds in a petty cash fund for
the resident's personal needs.

The bill increases the resource limits for public assistance
eligibility from $1,000 to $3,000 for an individual and from
$2,000 to $5,000 for a married couple.
