HB 1394 -- Death Penalty

Co-Sponsors:  Riback Wilson (25), Bray, Gambaro, Boucher,
Campbell, Hilgemann

This bill removes the death penalty as a punishment for first
degree murder.  It also commutes death sentences to sentences of
life imprisonment without parole.  Sections detailing the
procedure to be followed in carrying out a death sentence and the
section outlining items the court or jury must consider when
determining whether to impose the death penalty are repealed.
