HB 1486 -- Fire Protection Districts Co-Sponsors: Crawford, Scott, Luetkemeyer This bill changes the residency requirements for fire protection district directors in counties of the third and fourth classification. Under current law, a candidate for director must be a voter of the county in which the district is located for more than two years before the election or appointment.
