HB 1514 -- Property Tax:  Installment Payments

Sponsor:  Burton

This bill requires that all counties, except township counties,
provide by ordinance or order a method of allowing personal
property taxpayers to pay their taxes by installment on an
annual, semiannual, quarterly, or monthly basis.  Under current
law, counties may (permissive) provide for installment payments
of personal and real property tax only on an annual, semiannual,
or quarterly basis.
