HB 1574 -- Pledge of Allegiance in Public Schools and Colleges

Co-Sponsors:  Cunningham, Jetton, Quinn, Luetkenhaus, Bearden,
Secrest, Myers

Under this bill, students and teachers in schools and higher
education institutions that are publicly supported must pledge
allegiance to the flag before class or in the first class of the
day.  Those who do not wish to participate may remain silent.
