HB 1581 -- State Highway Patrol

This bill allows the Superintendent of the Highway Patrol to
authorize officers to accept federal commissions to provide
investigative and arrest authority and to enforce federal laws.
The bill also allows Highway Patrol officers to run for and hold
positions as school board members.
