HB 1628 -- Pledge of Allegiance in Public Schools

Sponsor:  Luetkenhaus

This bill requires every public school to ensure the recitation
of the pledge of allegiance at least once a week in one scheduled
class of every student.  If a student's parent or legal guardian
expresses an objection, the student does not have to participate.
