HB 1691 -- Prison Telephone Services

Co-Sponsors:  Curls, Mays (50), Williams, Hollingsworth, Bland,
Hoppe, Thompson

This bill requires contracts for collect call telephone services
within correctional institutions to be awarded to the lowest and
best bidder over the life of the contract.  The Office of
Administration is authorized to renegotiate any existing contract
in order to reduce costs.
