HB 1930 -- Electronic Government Services Act Sponsor: Burton This bill creates the Electronic Government Services Act. The bill prohibits any government agency from providing electronic commerce services if the services are being provided by the private sector. A government agency can provide duplicate or competing electronic services if public notice and the opportunity for public comment are provided. Disclosure requirements of the governmental agency are provided in the bill. If a government agency elects to provide electronic services in a jurisdiction where the private sector delivers the same services, the government agency is to report annually the amount, source, and cost of working capital utilized for the services.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
