HB 2016 -- Delivery of Prisoners

This bill changes the information required for the delivery of
prisoners to correctional centers.  The following is required:

(1)  A certified copy of the sentence, including specifics on
statutes violated, probation, and restitution;

(2)  Specific details about the prisoner provided by the
prosecutor, including the name and address of the prisoner and
any known gang affiliation; and

(3)  Information about the physical and mental health of the
prisoner.

The bill allows the Department of Corrections to refuse to accept
a prisoner without all the required information.
