HB 2203 -- Prior and Persistent Alcohol Offenders Sponsor: Bartelsmeyer Currently, a persistent offender for intoxication-related offenses is defined as a person who has pled or been found guilty of two or more intoxication-related offenses within 10 years of the intoxication-related offense for which the person is being charged. A prior offender is a person who has pled or been found guilty of one intoxication-related offense within five years of the current charge.
