HB 2219 -- Intoxication-Related Traffic Offenses Sponsor: Naeger Current law requires individuals who plead or are found guilty of a second or subsequent intoxication-related traffic offense to have an ignition interlock device installed in their vehicle. This bill gives the court the discretion to order the installation of the ignition interlock device for second or subsequent offenses. The bill also prohibits the Department of Revenue from suspending or revoking the driver's license of a person who pleads guilty or who is found guilty of a first or second intoxication-related traffic offense and who is required to use an ignition interlock device.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
