HJR 24 -- Legislative Term Limits

This proposed constitutional amendment increases the limit on
service in the General Assembly from eight years in either house
and 16 years in both houses to 12 consecutive years in either
house and 24 years in both houses.  Service beginning after
January 5, 1994, will be counted.  Service of less than a full
General Assembly to complete another person's term will not be
counted.
