HB 1926 -- CHILDREN'S HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM

This bill:

(1)  Extends the sunset date for the Children's Health Insurance
Program from July 1, 2002, to July 1, 2007;

(2)  Adds emancipated children to the list of uninsured children
who can participate in the program; and

(3)  Repeals a provision pertaining to outreach activities
through the Division of Medical Services for children's health
programs jointly financed by state and federal matching funds.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
